2025 Grantees

In 2025, the Palo Alto Community Fund (PACF) awarded $1.8 million in grants to 73 local organizations. These grants will help ensure nonprofits have the stability and resources needed to sustain critical work and plan for the future in this time of profound challenges.

Seventy nonprofits received annual and multi-year grants totaling $1.5 million, which will help to strengthen the fabric of our community and enhance its vibrancy. A record 58 percent (41) of those organizations were awarded multi-year grants, joining 29 multi-year grantees from last year's grant cycle.

For over 40 years, PACF’s Annual Grants process has channeled the giving of local donors to focus on supporting the organizations that provide the network of support for our neighbors in Palo Alto, East Palo, and Menlo Park.

The Dave Mitchell Impact Grants, first awarded in 2020, are considered separately from PACF’s annual grants and are specifically designed to help local nonprofit programs significantly move the needle towards addressing long term systemic issues. For 2025, PACF awarded unrestricted funding to three frontline organizations providing legal, economic, and social services to local families in historically marginalized communities.

The Cammie Vail Community Resilience Grants prioritize flexible, unrestricted funding to support nonprofits and their leaders as they respond to urgent challenges and strengthen organizational resilience. Awarded on a rolling basis, these grants help essential organizations navigate change, address emerging needs, and continue delivering critical services in our community.
