In response to the recent lockdown, PACF gives $100,000 to help struggling families

Helping families cope—with dignity
Partnering with Bring Hope HomeKafenia Peace Collective and the Gift Card Bank, our grants will provide direct financial support to 275 families in need. We sincerely thank our nonprofit partners for the work they do to enable these families to navigate this extremely challenging time with dignity.

Supporting our senior population
In addition, a portion of the $100,000 was granted to La Comida, a local nonprofit dedicated to serving meals to seniors, including low income seniors. La Comida’s meal demand has increased by 50% during the pandemic.

10th grant round for COVID-19 Relief
This is the 10th grant round PACF has distributed since March, in response to challenges in our community caused by the pandemic, and brings the total amount for COVID-19 relief to $1.2 million. Thank you to our donors for their continued generosity and community support.

Will you join us in raising $1 million to help support everyone in our community?
We continue to raise money for the following urgent and escalating needs:

  • COVID-19 related hardship relief including direct financial support for basic needs, childcare, food insecurity, health and mental support, rent relief, other housing support  and homelessness.
  • Programs and local nonprofit organizations that support our most vulnerable communities, help families, improve education opportunities and enhance community life for everyone.
