Reflecting on a Year of Generosity and Impact

As 2024 draws to a close, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for being an integral part of the Palo Alto Community Fund (PACF) family. This year, your generosity has fueled a thriving ecosystem of local nonprofits working to make Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, and Menlo Park stronger and more connected communities

Together, we’ve tackled critical issues such as affordable housingyouth mental health, and support for marginalized populations. Thanks to your contributions, PACF awarded over $1.7 million in grants this year to empower transformative solutions, sustain nonprofit partners, and recognize exceptional leadership. To learn more about the impact of your support, visit our Impact Report.

At PACF, we know that building community goes beyond grantmaking. This year, we’ve deepened our engagement with nonprofit partners by hosting learning sessions on critical topics, such as leveraging AI for nonprofits and the art of impactful storytelling. We also collaborated with Stanford Social Innovation Review (SSIR) to award scholarships, enabling local leaders to attend their esteemed Nonprofit Management Institute. These initiatives are just a few ways PACF supports our grantees beyond the check, fostering knowledge-sharing and capacity-building across our community.

Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited to continue fostering connection and collaboration, with plans to:

  • Host brief Zoom forums to spotlight key community issues and leaders.
  • Offer donor site visits to witness the impact of your generosity firsthand.
  • Host our flagship Community Celebration—bringing donors, nonprofits, and partners together to strengthen our shared vision for the future.

Thank you for trusting PACF to steward your generosity and for being part of a community dedicated to making a difference. Together, we’ll continue to foster collaboration, innovation, and lasting impact.

With deep gratitude and warm wishes for a joyful holiday season,

Irene
