EPATT’s New Center in East Palo Alto

Celebrating a Milestone

We were honored to join the celebration of the public opening of the East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring (EPATT) Center at Cesar Chavez Ravenswood Middle School, a vibrant new hub for learning and mentorship in East Palo Alto.

The Center features six dedicated tennis courts, welcoming tutoring and study spaces for students and mentors, and a central office space to support staff and programs. This thoughtfully designed facility reflects EPATT’s long-standing commitment to equipping youth with the tools they need to thrive in college, career, and life.

For over 30 years, EPATT has worked to bridge the opportunity gap for under-resourced students through a powerful model that integrates one-on-one academic tutoring, tennis instruction, enrichment activities, mentorship, and family engagement. Their comprehensive, year-round programs improve academic achievement, build life skills, and promote college and career readiness—all while fostering a sense of belonging and confidence.
