Transitional housing project breaks ground in Palo Alto

On Tuesday, October 31, Palo Alto Community Fund (PACF) board members Sigrid Pinsky, Jane Rytina and Mike Alcheck and advisory board member Pastor Paul Bains were delighted to attend the groundbreaking of Homekey Palo Alto. This interim shelter will serve at least 200 unhoused residents annually and is scheduled for completion by early 2025.

Thank you to each and every PACF donor whose generosity allowed us to support Lifemoves in Homekey Palo Alto. We are honored to be a part of this journey with LifeMoves through a $100,000 PACF Impact Grant, awarded in 2022, that helped support the application for state funding and ongoing support services for Homekey Palo Alto.

"LifeMoves exists to end homelessness and we can’t do that alone. It takes public, private, and service system partnerships to catalyze innovative projects like these,” said Aubrey Merriam, LifeMoves CEO.
