PACF is rallying our community around youth mental health and wellbeing. The Community Campaign has two calls to action: Give to support allcove Palo Alto, our community’s integrated youth mental health center. Act by joining the network of organizations standing together for young people.

Why allcove Matters
A Place Where Youth Belong
When allcove Palo Alto opened in 2021, it was the first integrated youth mental health center of its kind in the United States — a place designed with, by, and for young people where they could walk in without an appointment, without a parent’s permission, and without fear of stigma. It was built because our community embraced an opportunity to bring an innovative, evidence-based approach to youth wellbeing — one that meets young people where they are.
Young people co-created every aspect of allcove — from the name (chosen by the Youth Advisory Group to represent a safe, welcoming space) to the look and feel of the center itself. Students have called it “life-saving.” They describe it as “safe,” “accessible,” “confidential,” and “inclusive.” For many, it’s the first place they’ve ever felt comfortable asking for help.
allcove provides holistic care for young people ages 12–25 — all under one roof, embedded in the community it serves.
A New Chapter
Alum Rock Counseling Center
Starting July 1, 2026, allcove Palo Alto will come under the management and leadership of Alum Rock Counseling Center (ARCC) — a trusted community partner with over 50 years of experience providing behavioral health services to youth and families across Santa Clara County.
ARCC has been a core partner of allcove since it first opened, providing peer support and employment services at the center. This transition ensures continuity for the young people who depend on allcove, while building a more sustainable path forward.
As funding sources for allcove are shifting, allcove Palo Alto needs local donors, organizations, and families to step up to ensure it can continue to serve — and expand its reach to more young people who need it.

Community Partners
Standing Together
Many of the organizations PACF supports and other community organizations are already providing incredible programming and support for youth that directly strengthens mental health. We want to recognize this work — and help make information about these services more readily available to more people and in more ways. That's why we're building a Community Resource Guide alongside this campaign. Once the guide is complete with a critical mass of vetted entries, a copy will be shared with every organization that contributes, and it will be available for download right here on the PACF website.
