The 11th Annual Poker Party

All In for Our Community

On October 15, the Woman’s Club came alive for PACF’s 11th annual Poker Party. It truly was the best of both worlds. The room was full of longtime, familiar faces who have been part of this tradition for years, and there was still room at the table for new friends, many of whom left excited to continue their relationship with PACF.

It was a night of friendly competition, record-setting rebuys, and plenty of laughter. But our nonprofit partners were the real winners. Together, we kicked off giving season by raising over $81,000 to help lift every corner of our community in Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, and Menlo Park.

We are deeply grateful to our event underwriter, IEQ Capital, sponsors Citizens Business Bank, R&M Properties, and Alta Mesa Cemetery and Funeral Home, as well as our generous table sponsors, who set the stage for a remarkable evening. And a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated volunteers who worked behind the scenes, from setup to registration to the bar to the rebuy table, to make the night run smoothly.

The Poker Party is a fun night out, and it is also a reminder of what PACF is all about: neighbors coming together to invest in the place we share. To everyone who played, sponsored, volunteered, or cheered from the sidelines, thank you. We can’t wait to deal you in next year.
