In 2020 PACF distributed $660,000 in annual grants to local nonprofit that help families, uplift the vulnerable, improve education opportunities, and enhance community life. For over 40 years, our annual grant making process has focused on supporting the organizations that provide the network of support for our neighbors in Palo Alto, East Palo and Menlo Park.

David Mitchell Community Impact Grant

In 2020, PACF launched our inaugural Dave Mitchell Community Impact Grant in honor of the memory of longtime community supporter and philanthropist, David Mitchell. This grant will be awarded on an annual basis to a local nonprofit organizations who demonstrate the ability to provide significant impact in the area and community they serve.

Covid-19 Relief Fund

The Palo Alto Community Fund (PACF) has launched a COVID-19 Relief Fund in March 2020 to raise and deploy immediate financial resources to help the most vulnerable in Palo Alto, East Palo Alto and Menlo Park.
