Sobrato Philanthropies
We are deeply grateful to Sobrato Philanthropies for their generous sponsorship of our 2026 Community Celebration. Grounded in three generations of Sobrato family leadership, Sobrato Philanthropies has contributed more than $1.5 billion to support individuals and families across Silicon Valley, including through their landmark Thriving Communities strategy, which invests in economic mobility, educational equity, and housing security for low-wage and housing-insecure families. PACF is also proud to call the Sobrato Center Palo Alto our new home, a space where we can put down roots and grow alongside fellow nonprofits who, like us, are driven by a deep commitment to community. We look forward to working with Sobrato to activate this space through community conversations and gatherings that bring people together.

PACF and Sobrato Philanthropies are partnering for a lunchtime Community and Culture conversation featuring PACF grantee Nadine Rambeau, Executive Director of EPACENTER. Drawing on decades of arts education experience, Nadine will make the case for creativity as a vital force for shaping identity, agency, and collective well-being, pushing back on narratives that treat arts education as supplemental rather than essential. The conversation will examine how creative practice cultivates resilience, fosters belonging, and empowers individuals and communities to reimagine what is possible, even in the face of deep inequity.
